Gaspereau Press and the peril of the Giller) were waiting for their paper order to produce maybe 600 copies a day when orders started coming in for 10s of thousands... I have a cherished Gaspereau book -- On Songwriting by Bob Snider. Bob's lino-cut on the cover produced one at a time on a platen press, beautiful typography, each copy carefully bound in-house. They made a deal eventually with Douglas and McIntyre for a Friesen mass produced trade paperpack of The Sentimentalists and everyone went away happy. Seemed downright mischievous to read it as an ebook.
